Group Tours at Salters' Hall

We are happy to take bookings for group tours of Salters’ Hall.

The home of the Salters’ Company since 1976, no other Livery Hall looks quite like it. It is an excellent example of Brutalist architecture, designed by Sir Basil Spence and David Hicks. A tour of the Hall will include an opportunity to see the unique Main Hall on the 5th floor, as well as a brand new pavilion entrance and Salters’ exhibition and archive.

Tours are available on the following dates in 2025:

Thursday 18 September - click here to book.

Thursday 23 October - click here to book.

In 2026, tours are available on Thursdays, from April to October, and each tour can accommodate up to 20 people. Tours last between 60 to 75 minutes and are suitable for people with an interest in Livery Companies, history, architecture and gardens.

Tours are £9 per person and include tea, coffee and biscuits.  Any extra donations to the Salters' charities are welcome and there will be a donation box on site if you wish to donate.

Bookings will be available via Ticket Tailor, on the following dates for 2026:

Thursday 30 April at 11.30am

Thursday 28 May at 11.30am
